I catch an early flight to Wellington for my first round of PPTA exec duties. I'm looking forward to representing Canterbury, learning more about the union, and catching up with friends. After listening to a day of training speakers, and struggling to stay awake at times, I walk to Lyall Bay for a wake up dip in Cook Straight water. There are millions of eggs floating in the sea, like sago pudding. I put myself to bed earlish hoping all is well back in Dodge.
