Catching Up

The last weeks have been hectic. I make it to lunchtime and two free periods and do some mopping up. I make a call to Gary, the plumber, which I've been meaning to do for ages. He tells me he needs specs and pieces of any taps which will need to go in the wall before the gib board is nailed on. Oops. I call Sherrill. She tells me the Perrin and Rowe taps are few and far between, otherwise will take 12 weeks plus to be shipped. It's the end of the day and she starts to ring around. I resign myself to choosing something else. Rookie mistake. And the drain for the bath....Gary's sure Kirk should have organised this. It's fixable, we'll just have to work it out.
I'm ready for a swim. It's overcast with a cool breeze. At Taylor's the waves are breaking on a depression which slopes back up to the beach. I'm cautious. I don't want to loose my front teeth.
