I continue my search and trace for consent documents. There's an elusive one. Constructure. Not sure why but the engineer is contacting the CCC for information. I let Pete know the builders are coming this afternoon and he's onto the toe kicks tout de suite. I'm speculating he wants the boys to put them in for him. And I'm right. He brings them back just as Kirk and Cam arrive. The toe kicks are indeed a bit tricky, like Pete, but Kirk is good at problem solving. And gives me an ace bottle of New Zealand gin- Scapegrace. The end result is neat and tidy. I go round the house with Cam to talk through the other jobs- the temporary door handles are not going to work so we swop the wardrobe ones, for consent. Cecile arrives and photographs the light fittings. She's suitably ebullient. She's Cecile and her brain injury is her lens. Kahu has an early work shift. I make it out to Thursday drinks with Chris and Sherry. It's quiet out so we drop in on Kahu. Original Sin has patrons and loud music. We have a beer, a conversation and an update on night life in the CBD. Nascent. The gin is delicious.
