Creativity

If I need something to look right, I call Anjie. She's helped me put costumes together over the years and done my hair. Today I ask her to come round to get my old tiles in the right combination for the laundry splashback. Then I ambush her with the more difficult task of creatively patching up the wallpaper gap in the walk in. She not only gets the pattern in double quick time but is also a dab hand with the double sided tape. I'm all fingers and thumbs and provide chat support. Apart from a bulky double overlay, you can hardly see the patches. It will do for consent and looks a lot better than bare gib in the meantime. Greig picks her up and agrees to play a first set at the housewarming party next Sat. He claps his hand in the living area. There's a distinct echo and it's going to be noisy. I'd like to be able to snap my fingers and make curtains appear. They're not a priority at the moment.

I need to find out how to use the over so head to Noel Leeming, then chase up lights, without much success at Lighthouse. Seems I've been through that door too many times now. Patience is a virtue. Kahu's 6 foot 7 friend, Sam, is in the house enjoying the space when I get back. He likes the fact he doesn't need to bend when going through doors. Kahu finds a use for the chandelier- hanging his spot washed shirt to air. I enlighten him. I settle to more unpacking.
