Speeches

Thursday and my life at school is about speeches. Otherwise it's 22 College Ave. We're watching Lance while he's doing his level best to get the place painted. Then we can move to floors. Kahu and I drop by and Lance is sanding and tidying up the demo doors so they look brand new. I take a look at the place the basin spout is going for the bath. It looks ok, not as far back as I'd thought. Maybe this combination will work. Fingers crossed. Otherwise I'll be able to swop it for the bath spout which, according to Sherrill and the guy at Perrin, is very bulky. There's some daffodils out in the garden and I take them back to Upper Crichton. There's no-one to appreciate them at home.
Social volleyball and the highly unusual occurrence of our team winning. We didn't choke for once.
