Wall paper and the Mosh Pit

It's Saturday and party night. I spend the morning doing errands...nearly paying off appliances, picking up wallpaper. I drop in on Robyn who has almost finished her home improvements. and her studio is up and running. I've missed Kahu- he's out of bed and out the door. On his party weekend. I'd rather not know. I go to College Ave to potter. I don't get a lot done, just some weeding; the ground is sodden after all the rain. My bulbs are coming through: daffodils, fresias, match sticks, snow drops. Winter roses are flowering.
Robyn picks me up, we gather Lizzie and head to party number one, Kritara's 50th. Party number two at Lyttleton is rocking. The decks are pumping sound and we generate a mosh pit. We're Covid confident  but I still feel an aversion to standing close when talking. Too much spit. I don't feel super good myself which is typical for end of term. The bugs catch up.
