Hot Monday

 A sweltering day. I arrive with a bottle of Duet for Kurt and Steve. They've been laying gravel all day in unrelenting heat and are parched. Preparation for the foundations are progressing well and ground level is rising. The fill is taking up most of the front section so I'm wondering how I'm going to replant. I don't know a lot about this stuff. Meanwhile, I've got the corbels under control, thanks to Alan. And Pete took a load of rimu planks salvaged from the old house- to make something new.
