All Quiet on the Western Front

The birds are singing, the sun is shining. It's a good day for gardening. Thanks Kevin and the dig out boys for saving the camellia and climbing rose, garden wall paper from my kitchen window. Thoughtfully placed by the fence. And a hose to water them with. I spend the afternoon digging odd bits of concrete and bricks out of the space where the garage used to be. Takes a lot longer with a garden fork and wheelbarrow.
Don't know how it happened so quickly but there's a new power pole out the front. Ka pai, Orion.
I dig up an old bottle in one piece; someone else has found a long buried horse shoe and put it by the loo. Auspicious.
